Splitters and cutters

Chopping wood takes a lot of effort; everyone who has a fireplace or a wood stove knows this. Electric log splitters are the modern answer to the need for convenient splitting of logs and blocks of timber. The entire effort is made by an electric motor which drives the hydraulic power system developing tons of pressure, forcing the log into a splitting wedge made of premium steel against which the wood breaks into two neat parts (an optional cross splitter blade can split the wood into four pieces at a time). The tool is perfectly safe, as operating it requires two hands well away from the log being split. The high weight and robust body of the log splitter makes it stable and perfectly stationary, although it can be moved around with ease and loaded or unloade to or from a trailer thanks to two ground wheels.
